Story

ZCLOCO began in 2007 when I tagged my signature anywhere I could :: on whiteboards, chalkboards, binders, driver’s license, school assignments.

I would sit in class drawing it over and over, decorating my binders, school papers, everywhere. I would borrow markers and pencils from nearby students, populating whatever I could get my hands on with multitudes of my logo.

Then I had the idea to put it on a shirt. I don’t even remember how it came up with the idea. The name took quite awhile to figure out and I eventually settled on ZCLOCO :: Z CLO.thing CO.mpany. From there I sat down with the graphic designer at the print shop to make the vector file and made the first run of 24 shirts.

I had no idea if people would buy them, how they would sell, or what the hell I was doing. But I jumped in anyway.

All 24 sold out immediately.

Over the next 3 years I sold over 500 variations of the design printed on t-shirts, tank tops, and hoodies.

Years later, fueled by creative inspiration from around the world, ideas picked up here and there, and ambition to create eye-catching products focused on the creative community I present :: The Sequel
